German tennis player Alexander Zverev has been an exciting prospect since he arrived. However, he has yet not been able to execute his game to the full potential he can at the Grand Slam events. The manner in which Zverev has displayed performances does give hope to fans that he has all that it takes to achieve Grand Slam glory. Thanks to his promising career so far, the German player is not only popular in the tennis community, but is also well-known by athletes from different sporting backgrounds.

Alexander Zverev meets Miami Heat star player 

At the moment, Alexander is in Miami and caught up with Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler. The 6ft 7inches star paid a visit to the tennis center and met the former World No. 3 player. It is always great to see star players from various sporting fields. They enjoyed a fun tennis practice session together.

The 2020 Olympic Gold medalist did issue a message to fans that stated, “If you wanna see Jimmy Butler on a tennis court, make sure to come to one of my matches. His a** is getting forced to come hit in front of all of you.”

Coming to tennis, Zverev began the season in Australia. He competed initially in the ATP Cup and did not go far in the tournament. Post that, he was seen at the Australian Open and lost in the fourth round to Denis Shapovalov.

Not the best start to the season 

The result in Melbourne was a disappointment according to his standards. He was seen in Acapulco, but things did not go well for him there. During his loss in the doubles, he smashed his racquet on the chair of the umpire and that did get him disqualified from the singles category.

At the Indian Wells, he lost in the opening round. Now that he is in Miami, ready to compete at the Miami Open, where he will surely look to end the tournament on a high note as the tennis shifts onto the clay in the coming weeks. Nonetheless, we wish him the best of luck for the week ahead.
