The American tennis sensation played his last match at the Paris Masters this year, where he witnessed a shocking defeat against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in his first match. But now, he seems to be keeping the setback aside and enjoying some much-deserved break with his Canadian girlfriend Broomfield, as they gear up for a vibrant Christmas celebration. 

Tiafoe took to his Instagram story to share a reel in which the duo can be seen preparing for Christmas. In the video, the couple is spotted indulging in several romantic activities from going on shopping for Christmas to setting up the Christmas tree together. Dancing their heart out and hugging each other is definitely a bonus! Captioning the video, Broomfield wrote, “the tree leaning to the left 😩 also we need a topper, any suggestions?” While the couple might be a little early in their preparations, the video clearly highlights the bond that they share. 

The couple started dating back in 2015, and they have often expressed love for each other openly. From engaging in social media PDAs to going out on dates, the couple never fails to mesmerize their fans. One such romantic and star-studded outing came recently when Tiafoe and Broomfield were seen watching a match between Patrick Mahomes’ team Kansas City Chiefs against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on November 11. 

In the series of pictures shared by the Canadian star and former D1 tennis player, the couple were also spotted with American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift, and her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who also represented the Chiefs. And interestingly, it is not just the love that keeps the couple united, but also their shared passion for tennis. 

When Ayan Broomfield opened up about helping Frances Tiafoe ahead of matches

Ayan Broomfield was one of the top college tennis players at Clemson University and then UCLA. Although she did not play much on the WTA tour, her passion for the sport continues to shine. It is for this reason, that she also manages to extend help to her boyfriend Frances Tiafoe as and when needed. 

In an interview with ATP Tour.com in 2023, Broomfield shared how she helps Tiafoe ahead of his matches. “We can talk about tennis. I mean, I played tennis myself. So even just when we’re seeing the draw, and we kind of look at certain players, sometimes I can act as a sounding board for matches,” Broomfield said. Continuing further, she added, “Not to say that he takes my advice, but it’s nice to be able to chat about it and strategy. I just feel like we just understand it and what it takes for someone to go and be able to compete at the highest level.”

Their relationship has continued to evolve and become stronger over the past 9 years as evidenced by such support and love. And now, what remains to be seen is whether more adorable moments unfold on social media as the couple enjoy their break.
